Just to let you all know we have come down off our hill and are now at school. We have normal pickup at 3pm. Staff will be around until parents get here like normal. Just a reminder that there is no After School Care today.
Thank you to all of the parents who helped us this morning when we actioned our Tsunami plan. Our staff and team of parents were very efficient and we actually had a relaxing day full of important lessons. The children took the situation seriously without being too anxious. Whaea Antonia one of our regular relievers commented on how impressed she was with our children and how they managed themselves. The senior children really stepped up.
Our lovely Neighbours the Cyprian’s opened the bottom of their house for toilets for everyone, and even made lunch for the teachers.
The Gunson allowed us in there paddock under the trees. Ian gave us updates and offered toilets as well
